We had a pretty eventful weekend.
Friday we went out to eat to take advantage of birthday deals (my birthday is this coming Saturday).
Saturday we went to Lincoln for the Husker Football Spring Game (Go Big Red!) and ended up buying me a car! We have been looking for a little while to go from my Mazda Protege to a compact SUV but hadn't test driven any, just looked at reviews. We thought we should test drive our favorite to see if we even liked how it drove and I thought it would be fun and interesting to really low ball an offer while we were there. They ended up taking it + 200 dollars so we paid less than the Kelly Blue Book value for private party. The condition was we had to finance with them for 120 days but we can pay it off then and we got a pretty good interest rate so it almost isn't worth paying off early. We ended up with an 07 Hyundai Tucson that has only 20K miles.
Yesterday I dropped H off at the airport for his work trip in Tampa this week. He gets back late Friday so I'm missing him a lot.
I hope this week flies by!

My weekend was good! I feel like we got a ton accomplished. Friday night we lounged around and watched a storm. It was all rainy and windy, I loved it. I was mad I had to close the window, but I was getting rained on.
Saturday we bought some tomato and cucumber plants and some daffidols and planted them and bought some seeds that we'll plant this weekend. H mowed the lawn and we planted more grass and watered. I cleaned the cars out and they look awesome, I'm really excited.
Yesterday I laid around all day, it was nice

We had a really good weekend.
Friday night H had a bunch of people over for a poker tournament.
Saturday morning Aidan had his first t-ball game so that was fun. After that H and I left, along with 2 other couples and we headed to Richmond. We went to the Chili Cookoff down there and saw Papa Roach, Chevelle, Skillet and a few other bands. We spent the night down there and went out to another club to see the band Red and did some dancing. We had a lot of fun.
Yesterday we got home a little after lunch so we just lounged around trying to recover.
Our weekend was busy, and I'm still exhausted from it.
On Friday we went out of town for a wedding. I spent the whole day shopping with my SIL and a friend. Hubby came meet us when he got off work at lunch. We went to the wedding that night and had fun. We spent the whole day with friends and family. We came home on Sunday morning. We were home for about 2 hours before we had to leave to go to my grandma's retirement party. When we got back home, hubby packed his suitcase and left for a business trip until Thursday. He's coming home for my birthday on Thursday, then he will go back on Friday.
Friday I went out with some women from work because it was one of our coworkers last day. It was my first time being in a bar sine being pregnant and it wasn't really a lot of fun. I get tired at 8pm so I left early and came home and watched tv with my hubby.
Saturday I was planning on doing nothing all day. One of MH friends ended up coming over for a visit and we all cooked dinner together and it was a really nice night. We moved an hour away from all of our family and friends so we don't get many visitors.
Sunday we went to a children's consignment store looking for baby bargains and to a maternity store for me.
