Totally TMI - today's humiliation.
So, I've been battling this freaking cold for a week. I took Wednesday off, felt much better... and then last night I got hit with a massive bout of stomach cramps and the runs. I wrote it off as something I ate, and went to bed, woke up with the cold still raging, but my stomach felt okay, so I went in to school.
I ate some yogurt earlier in the day, then ate some pita for lunch. Well, as soon as I had one bite of the pita, my intestines started making weird noises, and I just knew I wasn't going to survive my afternoon classes. Ten minutes in to teaching my first of two afternoon classes (and my worst class, I might add) I knew I was going to have to make a mad dash for the bathroom... but I didn't want to go to the closest one because I knew my kids would be able to hear me! I had to run across the school and down one floor until I found a staff washroom that wasn't right next to a class full of kids.
Seriously, I thought I was going to go in my pants. It was awful. And then my principal came in while I was on the toilet and started asking me about my lesson plans. Helloooo? Awkward much.
I think I'm going to hide under my covers now.

oh no! that is the worst! & why do people feel the need to take to someone when they are using the restroom?!!?

i think we've all been there before, in one way or another... it's the worst when you are out and have to use a public bathroom and you aren't sure if you are going to make it there!! ick.
i can't believe she was trying to talk to you while you were doing your business! LOL

i'm with everyone else, why do people feel the need to talk in the bathrooms while you're doing your business? i don't get that. and i don't get people talking on their cell phone in a public bathroom either.
