A former co-worker of mine has breast cancer. They are going to operate this week, and I wanted to start by sending her a card (prob flowers later).
I scoured the card store for an 'appropriate' card, and found a nice 'thinking of you' one, because I felt "get well soon" wasn't quite right?
So the 'thinking of you' one has a nice message on the inside, but I don't know how to sign off. Do I say something about recovering quickly (as in, referring to the surgery).. best wishes? Best thoughts? Maybe they will be successful in removing the cancer in surgery, so I don't want to say anything that sounds like she is terminal, if that makes sense...
Any suggestions for wording would be much appreciated!
Re: How do I sign this card?
Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way?
Depending on how religious she is/you want to get.

When we had to send a similar card to a coworker of DH's we signed it something like "thinking of you and sending lots of positive thoughts your way"
