So Im not a bird watcher by any means, but right in front of the window where I do my office work here at home is a bush, and in that bush is a cardinal nest with a beautiful mom and dad cardinal... I can't help but to watch them! I cant wait to see if little birdie babies are born!
Re: bird watching
I am not a bird watcher either, but if I see them close to our house or window I just watch them for few seconds, they are beautiful.
Last year, a Robin was building a nest on our barn door, so Dh built a small ledge and transferred the nest. It was so cute to watch the little babies grow and then fly away. We just noticed over the weekend another Robin, or the same one, is building a nest on that same ledge. So we will watch these babies grow and leave the nest too.

DH works for the Audubon Society, so he is obsessed with birds. It's starting to rub off on me, but most of the time I can only identify a few of them. They are really cute.
