Twin names : a poll for you!
Trying to help Jaime out and liven up the board a little bit
Also since we are awaiting the arrival of the pirate twins...
If you had to name a set of twins right now, what would you name them?
Re: Twin names : a poll for you!
Heaven & Naveah. HAHAHA...NOOOOOOOOOOT. But we had twins in the NICU with those names. Gag. We also had Asia and La'nasia or some crap. No, I'm not kidding.
In all seriousness, I'm not sure I would do matchy-matchy names. I would just pick whatever names I like, regardless of whether they sound good together.
this is hard! I've had this page up for awhile and have been thinking about it.
my brothers are twins, and both names start with the same better, and that's been ok. I don't think I could do the rhyming thing - way too confusing for me.
girls: Kelly and Kimberly
boys: Adam and Andy
boy/girl: Romeo and Juliet - j/k I could never do that, but I'll bet someone has!
I probably wouldn't do matching names, either - just names that I like. But J and I are going to have a serious problem when I get PG because he only likes names that start with the same letter as our last name (like Sam Smith or Jack Johnson). I hate that. I hate it with the fire of a thousand suns!
So if I could pick anything, my names would be:
Boys: Jack and Justin (oh, those do match! oh well).
Girls: Cecilia and Grace
Boy/Girl: Jack and Cecilia
If I have triplets I will name them Snap, Crackle and Pop. Nobody here had better steal my super-cool idea!!!
Hmmm... I would name them LaWasha and LaDrya.... but don't worry, their middle names wouldn't be matchy.
I grew up with some twin boys. Ryan and Aryn. Aryn pronounced like Aaron. But their spellings have the same letters. Interesting huh?
that is interesting! I would never have thought to be that creative.
I'm not sure about what names I would do, but I know I wouldn't do matchy match names. Probably just two names I liked, otherwise I think it would be way too confusing.
I went to school with twin girls and their names were Misty and Breezy
...not going to lie about that! They also had a sister named Summer...

Ha ha! Nice poll...
I went to school with twin sisters named Latrice and Patrice...
I am a twin, but we don't have matchy-matchy names other than our middle names being after our maternal grandparents:
Lori Marie and Jarrod Everette
If I were to have twins I'd just pick regular names I like and give each child one of those and not have them be "themed" or coordinated unless we were honoring family members then maybe name each one after a brother, sister, aunt, etc. from my side and J's side or something. So if we had two boys and they were named after our fathers it would be:
Geoffrey and Timothy
Something like that.

Ok I think I would go with...
Kaimalie & Kamalani for girls and Kawika & Kanaloa for boys. Honestly I think they are a bit too matchy with the Ks, but they are my favorites at the moment, so if I had to choose right now, this would be it.
Haha!
I'm going to need a while to decide on names for twins. I doubt I would give them matchy names but they would have to "fit" well, whatever that means.
