Best day ever (insert sarcasm here)
When Matt and I got home, he sat me down for a serious talk: his job is being cut as soon as of May 31. They may keep him on until June 30, but it's looking more like May 31. The positive in this is that it means we have the opportunity to look anywhere we want. I'm trying to talk up the moving to another city idea but will wait to see if he's on board until Friday. If anyone knows of any public health administration jobs, keep me posted!

I'll keep my job search eyes open and will send T's and P's your way.
Bummer...but I love that you are looking at this as an opportunity rather than a blow! Reason #125,568 that Munkii rocks.
With that said, if DC is an option, I know some people who work for government contractors in the public health arena. Bids are going in for contracts right now, so this would be a good time to look for a job as far as I know...not to mention there are many government positions as well.

You should check out Minneapolis. My SIL and family live there and both work in healthcare admin. Minnesota has probably the best public health systems in the country! That being said , her hubby is interviewing today for a job in SF. Looks like the entire family might relocate, not just us!
