We've been having take out so much lately. I really need to hit the grocery store and get something good.
Last night I made ravioli for the first time, but didn't cook it enough. If you ever make it, what do you usually serve with it? A salad or something? Garlic bread?
So anyway, I need some fresh ideas for food. What are you making for dinner tonight?
Re: what's for dinner?
I would usually serve ravioli with both garlic bread and a salad.
Last night I made chicken tacos on whole wheat tortillas with a mexican rice and corn side dish.
Tonight it's Pasta Toss! I make whole grain penne pasta and toss any or all of these (tonight all!): chicken sausage (Trader Joe's makes a yummy sun-dried tomato one, but you can get similar ones anywhere) in slices, zucchini, yellow squash, asparagus, grape tomatoes, fresh basil, fresh garlic, a little olive oil, and a little balsamic vinegar. I also serve this with garlic bread (one of my favorite foods of all time!). As much as MH hates vegetables, he loves this!

My Food Blog - Good Eats 'n Sweet Treats
Last night we had nachos. And I am not a nacho fan, but after eating these I am now on the nacho bandwagon. It was soooo good! Tonight we are having english muffin pizzas.
I've had to watch my calorie and fat intake lately since my cholesterol is borderline high and I am overweight, so I've been trying out some new low-fat, low-cal recipes. It's made this process so much easier!I can actually eat food, just a lot less of it.
For ravioli I would serve a salad with it. Garlic bread is always yummy too!
oh no, no, no, let me clear that up! The ravioli was frozen! LOL
NICE!
