I am curious how much each of us spent on their wedding.
Would you spend the same amount if you could do it all over again?
[Poll]
Re: WR: Poll
I would definitely go back and not have the reception. Definitely not money well spent in retrospect.
Would have gotten a different photog for sure. I'm so angry about my pictures that I didn't even pick out pictures for our album. She was terrible. All she did was point and shoot. She didn't even tell people where to stand. Thank God my SIL stepped up to the plate and was telling people what to do. I also maybe would have done my hair different and invited less people.
Other than that, I really enjoyed my wedding and wish I was reliving it this year!!!!

Only things I would probably change is have gone for the middle size room.. and not the ball room. We got screwed and had to pay for empty chairs. There are a couple people I would have had on the A list.. not the B list cause atleast one of them is one of our closest friends now. And I honestly feel guilty till this day cause it was pretty obvious he was b-listed. And last, as much as I liked my dress.. i would have kept looking. I spent way to much.
We spent a lot. And by we I totally mean my parents.
I would probably do a couple things different - like insisting on the outside wedding we had planned on the beautiful day that didn't produce even one drop of rain from the sky even though the stupid hotel girl thought she saw a cloud that looked "bad." I would have also picked a different BM dress and maybe done some different things with our little touches, but overall I was really happy with the day and wouldn't have changed the big things.
we spent a ridiculous amount on the wedding, and i loved every second. i would do it again in a heart beat. the only thing i would fix is i would keep my veil on longer and when i took it off, my hair fell out a little, i would have fixed it instead of letting it hang (i knew about it, just didn't care at that point).
but it bothers me now every time we watch the video.
The one thing I would change was our DJ. He was horrible, pacing around and looking like an idiot. Even my photog was commenting on how crazy he was (not the day of, but later). We went cheap and that was a big mistake; an iPod would have been better.
But other than that, loved our day and will always consider it one of the best days of my life! Even the weather was perfect and we got "good luck" rain and pictures in the rain at the end of the reception.
