I have finals coming up next week! Last weekend I did some shopping at Sephora's sale and then went to Bath and Body Works with a coupon and got almost $30 worth of stuff for $10!!!
For this weekend I am looking out for a nice romantic restaurant for a date wtih hubby. Any suggestions? We like ethnic food
Hi Bonnie! Sorry I have been MIA lately. I was co-chair of the NY branch of a national conference that finally finished yesterday! Woohoo! Actually Nestie Carrieland presented a peer-led workshop with folks from her grad school and one of our NYC Nestie lurkers was there (Hi Anna!). So fun!
I am totally exhausted from working crazy hours. I am also planning a big bridal shower AT MY HOUSE. It?s this Sunday, so I have been running around like a mad woman trying to get everything ready to go. After Sunday, I will be a much happier person and hopefully around on the boards more.
How are you feeling?
I think the board was doing pretty good there...considering.
Sorry, I have been MIA -my work has gotten pretty hectic in the last week. Stupid work (lol) getting in my way of nesting.

As usual, I read your posts, but rarely respond- as a certain small person who lives here with me doesn't nap much.
I did see Liz and Freddy out and about today though ( Hi Liz!)- He is the cutest! I was stalking her in our hood, I literally trotted after her with B. strapped to my chest- Hee hee
Just busy with work and social events. This past weekend we had a friend from OOT stay with us. I love being tourist in my own city sometimes. Good times.
Tomorrow, drinks with some friends.
Thurs, concert and meet up with a friend who just moved back to NYC.
Fri and maybe Sat, meet up with friend from OOT (one of the pair for whom I am playing matchmaker).
Sun, nestie brunch and meet up with friend who I haven't seen since my wedding (four years ago).
Hi ladies!! I haven't had much going on lately either.
I started my part-time job last week and it's going really good! I'm taking my real estate exam to get re-licensed on May 4th. Looking forward to that...
DH and i went to an NYU Dance Faculty Concert on Sunday and i wasn't very impressed... :-/ The choreography wasn't good and the dancing wasn't too great either. A few dancers were really good! These are the faculty and students i'm going to be dealing with come fall, so i got a little disheartened. But i have to remind myself that this isn't a performance degree or a choreography degree...it's an *education* degree! Plus, i'm too judgey when it comes to dance performances.
Oh, also, DH and i are going to NH this weekend so i'm actually out of the GTG.
Sorry!! But we haven't seen the ILs since Christmas. I'm looking forward to it!

Everything is good on our end! We had family visiting over the weekend and Monday & Tuesday so my free time was completely zapped. I've been just trying to keep up with laundry at home, getting naps when possible and enjoying Freddie.

We might be moving! I know it seems absolutely crazy, but our lease is up in end of June and by chance we saw an apartment posting and went to look at it this weekend. They want someone in for mid-May if possible, so we'd have to find a new tenant to "take over" our lease for June so we wouldn't have to pay. I'm really liking the place - it's still in our neighborhood (about 9 blocks from our current apt), is completely newly renovated with a dishwasher!! and they seemed fine with us having our washer/dryer. And its in a brownstone which we both wanted. DH kind of wants to keep looking, but I really don't think there is anything better/comparable out there. I'll keep you posted! We're hopefully going to look at it again tonight (finished) - they were still waiting on the appliances and some tilework.

Just gettin up, going to work, coming home and repeating the whole cycle all over again. I work for a financial firm and we are right in the thick of earnings season. Fun, Fun, Fun.
The only exciting thing happening was that Al Pacina and Ray Liotta were filming right across the street from my house for two days. Yesterday, I managed to get Pacino's autograph and some great photos. He was right in front of my stoop. What a nice man. Oh, Channing Tatum (?) was also filming. There were a lot of girls waiting for him to come out of his trailer. I must confess, I don't have a clue as to who he is...I must be getting old.
Again, can't wait to meet all of you on Sunday.
