Big Island Candies/Honolulu Cookie Co?
Even in my past trips to Hawaii (to both the Big Island & Honolulu), I've never it made it to either place. I was thinking about ordering something from one of them to give it a try. Any favorites that I absolutely must order?!

Ahh, I literally opened the Big Island Candies' website yesterday for the first time in a year... ohhhh so good! They're much better than the Honolulu Cookie Company.
Definitely get the chocolate covered coconut brownies and the dark chocolate caramel dip mac nut shortbreads. To die for!

Just my opinion, but Big Island Candies is soooooo much yummier than Honolulu Cookie Co. If you're giving these as gifts and are looking for something cute, I'd go with HCC but if I was ordering for myself, I'd splurge and get BIC. We always make it point to go to the factory if we go to the Big Island, even if we're staying in Kona all the way on the other side of the island!
I like their original chocolate dipped macadamia nut shortbread cookies. John likes their chocolate covered brownies. The chocolate one is good. He got the peanut butter ones the last time but he ate the whole entire box by himself before I could even taste one.
He's not a huge fan of coconut so we didn't get that one but I've heard that that one is yummy as well!
If you ever get to go to their factory, you should get their brownie ice cream pie! A friend who lives on Maui told me about them and I was hooked the first time I tried one. Roselani ice cream with tons of BIC chocolate brownie chunks in their shortbread cookie crust. Mmmmmm, now I want to go to the Big Island to get one!
