Albany Shower Locations

Hello Ladies!

I am wondering if anyone knows of any inexpensive/casual location to host a bridal shower. I am hosting a shower for my friend for about 50-60 (breakfast/brunch) and don't want to spend a fortune.

 Any ideas would be great!!

Thanks!

Re: Albany Shower Locations

  • Mine have been held at pavilions at parks.  But for an actual restaurant, I'm not sure!  I'm sure someone can come up with something, bur for some reason, I'm drawing a blank on places that can hold that many people.

Maybe the Italian Community Center?  Or the Century House or something?

  • The Loudon Room at Latham Circle is a nice place for a brunch/lunch. I know it's a bit north of Albany but we've been there many times and have enjoyed it.
  • There are plenty of places around but they vary in price.  One of the best prices for what you got (food, drinks, location...) was Appletini's.

I've been to Century house, different golf club type places etc. but they seemed to charge more and offer less.

  • I went to a bridal shower at Crossgates Banquet House, on Washington Ave Ext. last year; it was pretty nice.  Not sure about cost.  It was a larger group, though; I don't know if they have smaller rooms.

Like many things on Wash Ave. Ext., though, if you consider it, make sure you give directions in invitations.  So many people got lost on the way there, because Google maps, etc. sends you to the wrong intersection.
