salad poll
so the board seems really slow lately so i'm going to try to post more, even if it's just random stuff 
i'm trying to post non-BR stuff too so the board doesn't get too overloaded with BR posts...
so, i was eating a salad tonight and wondered..... do you wash pre-washed salad greens? i always do, just b/c i know what kind of parasites can be in the soil and it freaks me out LOL when i took parasitology the professor said "if people knew about the kinds of things they could catch, they'd be more diligent about washing their fruits and veggies!"

I always wash salads even if they say pre-wash. I use one of those salad spinners which makes it easy to get the water out. I'm also afraid of getting E.Coli or something like that.
However, I eat salads out pretty often and who knows if restuarants clean the lettuce and other veggies. I guess you always take a gamble on your food when you eat out!
