Was it you that had laser hair removal done not too long ago? If so, did it work? How many sessions did you have to go for? Was it painful?

Re: ***Melozia***

  • I did! Honestly, I cannot believe I waited so long. I had it done on my entire lower face, including the upper lip. It wasn't too painful, like being snapped with an elastic. It worked wonders, even after the first session. I've gone for 2 now, going for my 3rd in a week or so, and then will likely need one more. I pay $168/session. I will warn you, that after a treatment the treated area will look a bit broken out for a week or so. It pulls alot of the junk to the surface of the skin which can cause it to be a bit raw and tender. It takes a few weeks for the hair to fully come out. Small price to pay, I say! I would highly recommend!
  • Thanks for the reply. After the third session will you be completely done? Is there any upkeep eg. having to go for one session/yr or something like that?

  • You'll have between 4-8 sessions depending on how you respond to the treatment (I am told that the darker and coarser the hair the better it'll work). Once an active hair folicle has been lasered, it will never grow hair again. The reason you have to go back is because hair grows in cycles so you have to laser the folicles as they become active. The time between sessions gets longer and longer (I went 2 weeks, then 4 weeks, then it'll be 6, then 8 weeks).
