About a month or so ago, there was a post about what kind of milk people drink. I'm lactose intolerant so I had been drinking soy milk but after some of you had written about the dangers of soy, I looked into almond milk. I started drinking Blue Diamond (vanilla flavored) a few weeks ago and I really like it. If MH and I have to make a dish that calls for milk, I will have to resort back to soy because he is allergic to nuts (but that rarely happens). So I just wanted to say thanks for letting me know about a tasty alternative!
The only thing I do wish is that Blue Diamond would make an organic version of the almond milk. I tried Pacific Natural Foods but it didn't taste as good as Blue Diamond and it also wasn't calcium-fortified (which I need).
Anyone else an almond milk fan?

I really like the almond milk (almond breeze), but didn't like it to drink straight. On cereal it was fine, stuff like that - I can't remember if I used it for any recipes or not. I use the lactose-free to just drink (like dunking choc chip cookies!).
My guess on the dangers of soy is that is has to do with eating/drinking A LOT of soy... but I think in moderation, you should be fine.
