Why do I constantly feel like I need a vacation planned to look forward to? I'm having a baby in a few months. Why isn't that enough to look forward to? I just saw Normailed's post and got jealous. We've had a big vacation planned every year for the past 4 years and this is the first time that we don't have anything on the horizon due to the LO on the way. Can't one of my friends get engaged and plan and DW?
I'm not really sure what the point of this post was, but I think it was just to complain.
Re: vacation
I hear ya!! One of my bridesmaids just went to another DW this past weekend in Key West. She emailed me some pics and I want to go to one sooo bad too! It would be awesome to go to a DW and be just a guest, not the bride.
Can you start planning a trip with a Baby C for the end of the year or early next year?
Done and done! And it's perfect timing as my birthday is the day before your wedding
I agree with Cristina. I know all the good places in the Banks.
As much as I would love to crash Cristina's wedding, I'm currently under an no flying restriction. Boo!
I know I just got back from the Bahamas, but that's just it, we would usually put a deposit down on our next trip on our last day of the current trip.
I'm secretly plotting another trip to Jamaica for sometime in 2011. I was kind of thinking Beaches Boscobel in Ocho Rios so DH can golf and we can bring the baby. He seems to think that vacation = only the two of us, but I think he'll change his mind after the baby actually gets here. I think it sounds a lot better for me to justify a "family vacation" as opposed to me and Bri taking yet another extravagant vacation and leaving the baby with my parents. Either way, there's no way he'd let me start planning anything now. I'm just going to have to live vicariously through you girls for a while.
ETA: Sarah- I started planning our 1 yr anny trip before we left for the wedding. We were going to Jamaica in July (a little early than 1 yr.) but that got changed once we found out about the baby and that's how the babymoon in the Bahamas in March came to be.
This... except multiply that by 3 for me and 2 for DH.
I agree with you Natalee. I feel like we need a vacation to look forward to now. We are going to go on one in November, but I'm trying to convince DH that we need to take a romantic weekend much sooner than that!

I'm the same way.
I just came back from PR and I'm already planning the next one. but I really went to visit my family and deal with my house back there, so it wasn't like a real relaxing vacation.
BUT...Most of the time my plans are just wishful thinking because DH likes to be the "voice of reason" and most of the time we end up not going anywhere.
