As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Work Vent
One of my students is supposed to have a one-on-one with him but the guy quit March 25. We had to good weeks with this student but since last week it has been horrible. Monday he slammed my head into the wall. I feel bad for him because he really does have no control over these impulsive behaviors. My classroom assistant hasn't been in since Monday so I am all alone with my class. Dave really wants me to take a personal day but I am afaris he will be worse since there will be no familiarity or structure if I am not here. Just needed to vent. It has been a hard 2 weeks.

Oh my. I have a few mainstreamed students with a combo like that and the aide is a necessary person to have. Does your school use a sub service? When one-to-one aides are out in my building, they will usually call a sub in.
Good luck- I hope that his aide is back soon.
