I had a dozen, beautiful yellow roses sitting on my desk this morning!
Not only did I get flowers, a card, some chocolate, but a front parking space too. Woot! Woot! It's going to be a good day!!!

I'm so jealous. My mother gets that kind of treatment at her job as well. They didn't do anything last year (my first with them) so I didn't have high hopes, but I thought they might take me out to lunch. But just in case I brought lunch. I put it in the fridge and saw their sandwiches in there as well. No chicken with bacon for me today.
Sounds like you have great bosses! That's very considerate of them to do all that for you.

I'm so sorry they didn't do anything for you. I know how you feel though, last year they forgot, the year before my boss bought flowers that were past their prime and gave them to me a day or two after the "day" and then the year before it was skipped over too, lol.
Honest, I really don't have a great boss, but I do have some nice co-workers. My boss is a huge b!tch most of the time, but she's been pretty nice the last few months. I wonder if she's finally dating and getting some extra loving, lol. Which she NEEDS!
