How is everyone today?
I am ok, I haven't been at work since Friday so it sucks to be back. Plus I guess I have to do three interviews back to back to back today which I am dreading. One of my bosses has been an absolute nightmare lately and I am hoping I can hold myself back from telling her off.
At least the week is half over already though.
Re: Happy Hump Day
Good morning!! This morning is my first day back at work too.
Thankfully, we're having a potluck, so that makes the day a bit more fun. And my boss seems to be in a very good, and personable (which is odd), mood. LOL
Luckily, since it's Wednesday, it means I should have some work to fill the next 3 days (since cramming 5 days of not so much work into 3 makes it at least somewhat worth me coming in for.)
Ahhh....so THAT'S where everyone has been. Slackers. can't believe I had to work when you guys didn't.
I'm ok. Tired today. I could not get out of bed this am.
Happy Wednesday.
So we think we figured out what is causing the leak from the master bath to the downstairs. I guess the caulk/groute in the floor of the shower has some tiny holes in them. So at the moment, I have a space heater in the shower stall drying it out (we haven't used it in a week but the tiled "seat" in the shower is still wet. (I was actually able to lift off three tiles and I was barely even pulling on them).
I'm pretty sure the above paragraph doesn't make a lick of sense but basically it looks like an easier fix when compared to the possibility of it being a plumbing issue.
Morning! I'm swamped at work now that flights are resuming back to Europe and I'm dealing with lots of stranded employees. Fun
I had an awful migraine yesterday and I'm so happy it's gone today. It might have to do with the small amount of stress I have in my life right now (due to moving!)

Morning...I'm doing okay other than this stupid cold or whatever I've got. I may have pink eye but it's not itching or burning but it's all gooey like pink eye. I couldn't open my eye this morning because of it. Hopefully it goes away soon. The sore throat is what is bugging me more than anything.
Yeah being able to pull the tiles off by hand is certainly not a good sign! I would put more thinset in and re grout and patch any other holes you may see. Make sure it doesn't get wet for at least another 24 hours...even 48 hours would be best. Then put some kilz on the water stain below before repainting it. Hopefully that will take care of it otherwise it's more than likely a hole somewhere in the shower pan under all the tile (assuming the whole shower is tile) and that would be a huge pain!
It really isn't because the shower is staying wet after you are done using it. That would play a very minor role because it's leaking while the shower is running but because it takes a little bit of time to work its way between the floors and onto the ceiling below and soak through the drywall is why it's not noticed right away. If that makes sense.
