Well, I had a Dr appt this morning and it went "ok". Baby is 100% fine, but in connection with my grossly swollen feet, my blood pressure was also high this week (142/91 whereas it has been around 118/70 in preg). So the Dr sent me to L&D triage to monitor, and all of my labs came back fine, but the BP is still high, so they released me to bed rest. I just came to work to grab some stuff so I can work from my lap top at home, but I will be on the couch until my appt next week when they reevaluate. I am not dialated at all, and I got really excited when the L&D nurse said that I was contracting every 2-3 minutes, until she told me they were just practice and don't mean anything.
So anyway, that's my bb update! Poor DH has been working like crazy (yesterday he didnt get home from work until 10:00pm) and now he has to do all the housework too. I do feel really badly for him, especially since I "feel" fine, I am just not.
Re: Baby Girl Update
Yellow Couch!!! WHOO HOO!!!
I know... looks like you have 18 days or some time near that to go...
Rest is a good thing (or so I hear...)... And here's some T&P that it does go down!... also, glad to hear the baby's doing great!
Are you doing a 'guess the date, weight, etc'?
Sorry there's no progress yet...but I'm glad they caught the BP and as frustrating as it may be...that you are on couch arrest until your next appointment.
Good Luck! You're so close!

Glad to hear they caught it even if it means you're on couch arrest. I can't believe how close it is!
Soak up all the rest you can now. 18 days from now you'll be wishing you hibernated through the winter.
I hope that your BP comes down and that everything is smooth sailing from here on out.
This! Enjoy the bed rest. And I hope that the BP goes back down lady!
Somehow I doubt your H is going to mind taking care of the house . . . you have to take care of yourself!
Try to enjoy the downtime while you get it . . . read some books, cruise the webs, watch some movies . . . just make the best of it. Hopefully your BP will cooperate and all will be well by next week.
Lots of vibes your way that your BP comes down. My sis was stuck in the hospital for 5 days after Olivia was born because her dang BP was super high!
Hoefully little baby girl behaves in there!
Hope the BP gets in check. Just relax!
Glad the little one is doing great!!
