Any thoughts?
I watched it pretty late last night stone cold sober after a workout, so no fun commentary from me. :P
Overall, I thought it was bringing things together with the "Claire and Jack find out they're siblings and give warm fuzzy looks" and "Jin and Sun are reunited" in both timelines. I wasn't sure what Sun was freaking out about with "That's him! That's him!" Anyone know?
And yep! The Locke getting worked on by Jack thing happened.
Re: The LOST Post (spoilers)
I also wondered why Sun was freaking out about Locke. Maybe she had flashed back (or flashed sideways, I suppose) to the island, similar to the way Hurley did last week? Or she just remembers him from the flight or the airport.
We know that Locke is trying to bring all of the main people together on the island; they all seem to be converging in the sideways world too, so I wonder what is going to happen if/when they do end up all at the same place at the same time.
The previews for the next episode made me laugh - oh "the horror"!so who thinks sayid killed desmond?
is kate really thinking aaron is better off with claire?
i think sun remembers things from her parallel world, now that she's had a near-death experience. thus freaking out when seeing locke.
wasn't wowed by this episode. no big revelations, but i'll take it.
Some notes:
Why was the well so shallow this time? Didn't Locke make a point of showing how deep it was in the previous episode? Or was that just a production thing so they could get both sayid and desmond in the same shot?
Don't think Sayid shot Desmond (though in a promo I saw he pulled the trigger).
I thought the Sun-Jin reunion would be more emotional. Sorta anticlimatic.
I think Kate is giving Claire the benefit of the doubt. Choosing to see the good in her and all that. Kind of a contrast to Locke who thinks that all people will become corrupted if given the chance. Kate's giving her a chance to be good.
Wouldn't the guns not work after swimming through the ocean with them?
Why do you guys think Widmore is now not so comfortable with having the losties on Hydra with him? He was fine with Sawyer and with Jin but now with all of them (minus Jack and Sayid) he's got them held at gunpoint? And what makes him think a bomb would kill Locke anyway? Or is it that the bomb would kill one of the candidates and then Locke won't be able to get off the island?
Wonder if Locke will be able to walk after Jack's surgery on him.
Who the heck is David's mom? I was so afraid it was going to be Ilana. Glad it's not. Juliet is the only one that would make sense at this point.

Ok, sorry, I had to watch it last night so I stayed out of the post yesterday.
I want to think Sayid did not shoot Desmond, otherwise dragging Desomnd back into the plot seems pointless.
I guess Sun had some kind of crossover memory when she saw Locke? Or she remembered him from the flight? But then why would she freak?
I thought the Claire-Jack meeting in the Betaverse lawyer's office was a little hokie.
I'm sleepy this morning and have no other deep thoughts. I'm worthless.
