I'm going to try and cook all day Suday for next weeks dinners. What are some of your make ahead recipes?
Re: Make ahead recipes
Meatloaf, baked ziti, lazanga (sp?), pancakes, waffles, french toast sticks, cheesy chicken, casseroles, soups, hashbrowns. I have a ton more but I left my book at home today. I normally carry it with me back and forth.
There is so much you can do Darah.
It all really depends on what you want for the week.
Soups are always easy - I love making one large pot - it's lunch for me the entire week, and I pair it with a small salad or dinner roll. Yum!
Fave soups - Buffalo Chicken soup - Becky made it last week as well, you can ask her how much she liked it!
Zuppa Toscana - it's my copycat version from Olive Garden
Cuban Pork chops - it's a staple in my house
Salsa Chicken - it's so freaking easy to make - you'll love this
Both dishes above pair well with Lime-Cilantro Rice
CPK Grilled Sausage & Pepper penne
Turkey Meatballs - for sandwiches, soups, and pasta
PF Chang's Mongolian Beef
Chilli, BBQ chicken, spaghetti, baked spaghetti, bourbon chicken, teryaki chicken, ribs (a lot of this can be made in a crock pot).
~~~MARRIED BIO~~~
I loooove my crock pot. We have become great friends!
I highly recommend stalking Krystals blog and making her recipes. Cuban Pork Chops is one of our favorite and regular meals now. lol
I was thinking I am totally going to have to start doing this.
