I'm posting a little early this time...
We all lead busy lives - deal with the crap that rolls our way- and rejoice in the happy moments we get to share too.
Post a pic of the best thing you've done for yourself in the past year.

So I'm cheating because I didn't start this this year but it is the best thing I've done for myself in a long time.
Spend more time in the saddle:
WOW!! Talk about a wake up call...
I can't think of a thing.
THIS...
Helping us with our marriage.
bought this book for DH - changed his complete outlook and tendencies toward mild depression about his artwork & day job, which makes ME happier too!
Also, I started running
Nothing. But this makes me really want to come up with something.
Hmmm. I think the last year has been about Give. Clearly, I've gained enough weight to demonstrate the need to switch to Recieve. Now that we're close to having a house and all the big items on the list are checked...I have been enjoying the glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.
Sorry, not very wordless.
I'm going to say this:
...Since, I've really enjoyed it.
I gave myself a break! Weird, I know, but I've decided to stop feeling bad about how my life has stalled out over the past 4 years. I would always feel bad about how I haven't auditioned, started any new project, or pursued any new jobs . . . but looking back the reason was that I was in horrible pain nearly every day. I thought how I wouldn't expect anyone else to operate normally under those conditions so why am I being so hard on myself?
Recognizing that has been sad, but now I can take those years for what they were and realize I'm stronger for them now.
this, I have not done anything for myself but really want to!
Ah, but of course. How could I forget the most obvious thing! I'm back in school and it feels great!
Massages every 2 weeks at the chiropractor. It helps my back and is just a little time for ME which is rare. Plus, it really lets me relax and realize what's important and what to let go.
Sounds weird, but I feel better with doing either of the two... (I try-doesn't mean I don't indulge every so often...
OR...
which I find makes me feel YOUNG!!!
Clean eating, coupled with moving toward a more vegetarian diet. It's one of the best things I've ever done for myself.
Moved here!
Really sad...
Hrmmmmm
Getting Ladmo??? Though he tortures me more then makes me happy, please tell me after they hit 1 they calm down

This is cheesy but true lol : )
