Happy Thoughts
Since it seems that some of us are having a rough day/week or are bummed about the rain or upcoming tests, etc., let's share some of the little things that make us smile. I've been trying to focus on the good things, no matter how small to try to keep things seem not as bad!

-losing over a pound last week despite two visits to a NJ diner
-Bud Light Golden Wheat- always makes me smile
-watching trashy TV while DH is still in NJ
-Banana Hotdog- a new creation to me, but oh so delicious (hot dog bun with peanut butter, honey and a banana)
What a good idea!
-My two friends who just got engaged - we had them over for dinner & it was so fun to talk about their initial wedding plans. They are so giddy & excited - it is just contagious!
-I'll agree with you on the Bud Light Wheat - I love that stuff!
-My cousin just told me she wants to come visit - I am so excited! I haven't seen her in 2 years & we used to spend so much time together when we were kids! She was my maid of honor & she totally rocks
-I made a kick ass vegetable lasagna yesterday...while it takes FOREVER to make, it came out great & we have tons of leftovers, so no cooking for me for awhile!!
~~* I checked out my resolution post and then a few of my posts from back in late December / early January on my blog and I was so incredibly amazed to see how different my thought processes are. I have changed so much in the last few months and I'm really happy that it's for the better.
~~* I lost my freaking job. I know I shouldn't be happy about that, but it was such a HUGE weight off my chest. I feel like I can breathe now that I'm out of that toxic environment and I no longer have to deal with the verbal abuse, blatantly sexual comments, and racist vomit my former assshole boss spewed forth every single day.
~~* My husband has been ridiculously supportive over the last few weeks with everything that's been going on... our relationship seems to have also taken a turn for the better.
~~* In the last 2 weeks I have had about 7 calls for interviews. I consider myself extremely lucky for that. I don't think I'll be unemployed for very long, but even if I am it's nice to know there is hope out there for me.
~~* I'm always grateful for bellydancing. When I put my iPod on and, not only can I sort of hear the jangles of those hip scarf coins in the background, but I can FEEL them and I can move to the music... it's in the top 5 greatest feelings for me and I'm so glad I have an outlet for my energy.

- DH is feeling much better since his surgery and is finally off his pain meds
- Not sure what in particular it was, but all of sudden last night I realized how much I truly LOVE DH and how lucky I am that even after almost 12 years I still love him more then ever
- I am always grateful coming home to my kids (Dog and Cat)
Poon - I think I've said it before but I'll say it again.
Sugar is seriously one of the prettiest dogs I've ever seen. I even showed DH a picture of her on Facebook and he was like "ooooh, she IS pretty. Maybe we can get one that looks like her when we have a fence in the backyard." Hehe. Hook, line and sinker :P

She was a rescue and she is a Husky/Golden Retriever. She seriously is the BEST dog ever...
I am grateful that I am marrying my best friend in two months.

Playing tennis again
1. I took a big test last weekend and for the first time in a long time, I'll get to sleep in as much as I want this weekend
2. Going to the lake this weekend with DH's cousin & her husband, who are some of our favorite people!
3. New shoes.
4. The screened in porch we are having built, which is nearing completion
5. Having a bathroom readily accessible when you have to pee. I really enjoy this.
- almost done with my 2nd year of grad school- when I think of it that way, it's actually going quickly!
- just discovered Words with Friends on my iTouch- that'll be a good distraction/time-waster!
- this summer we're going to visit my friend who's in medical school in St. Maarten. It seems far off, but today she posted some pictures on Facebook of her new place, and it looks amaaazing. I can't wait to visit her and stay there!
