So since I started working out...

I was feeling like things were starting to look better.  I thought my legs were looking a little better but my friends are all in great shape so whenever I see them I feel like crap.   until this weekend when I had to do the second most dreaded thing to swimsuit shopping.  I had to buy a dress.  I always have to buy dresses really big because my chest is huge.  I found a couple l liked and grabbed a size 18.  I am a 16 in most clothing but in dresses I am always way bigger.  

I tried on the 18.  It was too big.  I don't mean it was a little lose in the chest and big everywhere else.   I mean it was huge.  I smiled.  I tried it on in a 16.  It was still too big.  But closer to what I am used to with an 18.   The sales lady came up to me and told me that it was way to big and brought me a 14.  14 fit like a glove.  Looked awesome on me.  I bought it.  I am sure there are other dresses out there that might have looked better.  It may be a little too fancy for the party I am going to.  I don't care.  I haven't been able to put on a 14 in a couple of years.  I have been a 16-18 for a while now and I hate it.  

So assuming that a 14 is now my size (or 14-16)  that means that I am now only 3 sizes away from my goal.   Hooray!

    Are you still doing the 30 Day Shred? I started it today and it kicked my butt! How long before you were comfortable with it?

    Have you been tracking your inches lost?  You've probably lost close to 20 from your waist, hips and chest if you've gone down that many dress sizes.

    I started being able to handle the shred by day 5.  Had to stop at day 8 because I hurt myself (stupid ankles).  DH bought me the biggest loser Cardio Max DVD and it works great too.  It's lower impact.   But it's not as tough as the shred.  I think I have been at it for about a month.

    I am judging by clothing sizes because I don't want to depress myself lol.   But knowing that is pretty awesome.

  • Way to go!!!  that is so awesome!  I started doing the shred, and was starting to feel the results in my muscles, but not seeing too much, then I hurt my knee.  I've taken the last 5 days off from the shred and today my knee isn't hurting as much to walk so I'm hoping I can get back into it by the end of the week (I was hoping for today. :( not happening)
