We're back in NY!

Hi ladies, we're back. Just got in last night. We had such an amazing time in Mexico, except that it rained pretty much non-stop for the first three days (though we did manage to explore and even go for a quick swim when the rain stopped for 10 minutes here and there). It was completely awesome, and Sasha did beautifully on the flight: on the way there she slept, played with her stickers and ate; on the way back we had one minor little meltdown!!

We went to the crocodile farm there and it was so much fun, we got to play and feed all the animals (and there was a monkey with a tiny teeny 33-day-old baby with her!) Sasha totally digs crocodiles, who would've thought! I even got a massage on our last day (they messed up our room reservations, so they offered it to us for free). All in all, a great vacation, but I'd take a few more days. DH is back to work today, so I'll be slooowly doing all the unpacking/laundry/cleaning.

Oh, and I have something like 300 pictures, I'll post them soon!

  • Awesome! I'm so glad you had a nice time on your trip and that your daughter cooperated. =) Can't wait to see some pics!

Well, in MrsDe fashion, you know I'm dying to go somewhere, so I'm contemplating on whether or not I want to fly while I'm pregnant. =/ We're looking into driveable destinations, but it's not the same. We'll play it by ear.

Glad you had a wonderful time and welcome back...

  • Good to be back :)

And Bonnie, I say go for it! We flew twice while I was pregnant: first to Dominican Republic for a week (and yes, I couldn't drink but it wasn't that big of a deal, we still had a blast) and then to Russia to visit my family (most of whome DH hasn't met before). Both were amazing amazing trips and we really wanted to get some relaxed time before Sasha was born. Do it!!
