Ben Roethlisberger suspended for 6 games! I have to admit it's BS. The charges were dropped. You could accuse anyone of a crime at anytime and they shouldn't necessarily be punished for it. But we play them in week 4 so I'm a happy girl.
Funny story. I actually know the daughter of the woman who hit his motorcycle a few years back. She received dozens of death threats over the incident.

I still don't know why they ever picked him up. He played very, very little this past year. It was almost like it was a publicity stunt. Now that they got rid of McNabb, I think they're going to start Kolb, so he's still not going to play much. And you're right, I'm not a football fan, but between the city that I live in and Bri being a sports addict, I have no choice but to be surrounded by it.
I may have said this before, but I can't remember...the whole Vick thing happened while we were in Antigua for the wedding. I think most of the guests had left already, but we were still there and our friends Erik & Nicole. Strangely, not only were we not in Philly, but not even in our own country and it was all that everyone was talking about at the resort. We played in a beer pong tourney (we were high class romantics on our honeymoon) the one afternoon so it was us and our friends on a 4 person team. Us being typical Philly people thought it would be really funny to name ourselves Team Vick. People were seriously outraged by us. No one knew how to take a joke. We made it to the finals so people really hated us.
