1.) Who/what were you named after? My aunts. My mom's sister for my first name and my dad's sister for my middle name.
2.) What movie reminds you of your childhood? There are a few. Sandlot, Goonies, Christmas Story
3.) Favorite thing to do on a Saturday? Explore. I like going to places like a farmers market I've never been to or the Huntington to walk around the gardens.
4.) Do you watch the Oscars for the awards, the gowns or the performances? Up until this year it was all 3. But I honestly think they're turning into a big joke. The last couple years have had some really lame nominations and even wins.
5.) Tell us something about yourself that we don't know. I go on cleaning binges in my house. And they're usually early in the morning or late at night. Eric is learning that I can't be stopped during these times and it's just best to stay out of my way.
1.) Who/what were you named after? First name? No one. Middle? The name of one of my mom's aunts, and one of my dad's sisters.
2.) What movie reminds you of your childhood? Girls Just Want to Have Fun! I still remember when my babysitter first showed me that movie. I loved it & I must have seen is 1000 times by now.
3.) Favorite thing to do on a Saturday? Be lazy & watching Food Network for a couple hours before getting ready for the day.
4.) Do you watch the Oscars for the awards, the gowns or the performances? I really don't watch them at all. I may watch some of the pre-show just for the gowns.
5.) Tell us something about yourself that we don't know. I had braces for 5 years. I got them on & off on my birthday. Those birthdays were the best & worst birthdays, lol.
1.) Who/what were you named after? Nothing. My parents were both teachers and had a really hard time choosing a name that didn't remind them of a bad student. I do have the same middle name as my mother and my Great Grandmother's maiden name was Jenny. I wasn't named after her though.
2.) What movie reminds you of your childhood? Dirty Dancing!
3.) Favorite thing to do on a Saturday? Hang out with DH during the day. Walk around downtown and grab some lunch. Maybe go shopping or to a museum. Then hang out with friends at a bar or someone's house.

5.) Tell us something about yourself that we don't know. This is tough...I've been around long enough, I'm running out of answers to this question. At 4, I won a beauty pageant in Maryland. They sent me to Disney to compete. For the question portion there was a disney character on the stage. Right before my turn they switched from Goofy to Mickey and I cried because I wanted Goofy. I refused to talk and didn't do very well. But we still got a free trip to Disney!

4.) Do you watch the Oscars for the awards, the gowns or the performances? I quit watching most awards shows. I use to watch them all the time in college b/c we had a drinking game we use to play when we watched them.
5.) Tell us something about yourself that we don't know. I cannot paint my nails to save my life (esp. my toes). Anytime I do I end up with paint ALL OVER my skin and I typically just leave it there until it washes off in the shower.

5.) Tell us something about yourself that we don't know.I bring my lunch to work and usually am lucky if I can hold off eating everything in it until after 11. I tend to get very hungry at the end of the day because of this.

1.) Who/what were you named after? no one. my parents just made it up.

5.) Tell us something about yourself that we don't know. umm, i LOVE rollar coasters, but i will never ride a wooden one. they freak me out. the thought of something that big going so fast on something i can snap with my hands.
1.) Who/what were you named after? First name starts with the same initial as my parents, my little sister's starts with a D also. My middle name is my father's grandmother's name.
2.) What movie reminds you of your childhood? In high school I loved Little Women, Legend of the Fall, Stealing Beauty. As a kiddo, I really liked the old Disney movies - Mary Poppins, Pollyanna, Babes in Toyland, Bedknobs & Broomsticks
3.) Favorite thing to do on a Saturday? Find treasures at estate auctions, antique malls or thrift stores. Hang out at the bookstore with piles of magazines and coffee. When the weather is nice walk or ride bikes at the local trails, drinking wine on patios or go the wineries.
4.) Do you watch the Oscars for the awards, the gowns or the performances? I love watching award shows for the fashion, hair, make-up, gossip. The actual awards don't really matter to me.
5.) Tell us something about yourself that we don't know. I can talk to pretty much anyone, love meeting new people and am considered a social person. But I've always admired people who have those skill naturally. Most people don't know that I have always been super shy and get so anxious outside of my comfort zone. When/if they find out they are surprised. I guess I got good at pretending that it started coming a little more naturally. Give myself lots of pep talks and they work...most of the time

I'm running out of things you don't know...My 2nd year in college, one of my professors from the previous year tracked me down because she wanted me to oversee the learning center. It was my only job while going to school and I thought I was hot poop making 6.00/hr. My duties included computer trouble shooting, making sure everyone behaved, and tutoring in basic English and math. I'm still not sure why she had ME of all people in mind.
1.) Who/what were you named after? Apparently it depends on which parent you ask - Mom = no one ~ Dad = a girl he had a crush on when he was in elementary school (no wonder they're divorced!)

5.) Tell us something about yourself that we don't know. This was very odd to me...my ex-boyfriend's aunt turned out to be the girl that my dad had his elementary school crush on and hence who dad says I was named after...she also didn't remember my dad at all. Small, small world.
