Gutter recs?
We're looking to install some gutters on the house we just bought (yay!). If you've done this, who do you recommend?

we just used Austin Gutter King as well (installed on wednesday). The kind on our house before were the home depot kind and totally sucked (no offense to the pp). There's a science to gutters that our previous owners did not understand (they had downspouts in the wrong spots, angles wrong, flex hose in the wrong places, etc). We did our whole house, including screens, for $1900. we're a one story w/ 1900 sq/ft, if that helps you gauge.
We also got a quote from Austin gutter man (saw a commercial on TV that they were having 20% off). they were cheaper and i'm sure they would have done a good job too, but I just really didn't like the guy who came out for a quote. i'm not normally the type to care about that kind of thing, especially if it saves me money, but they wanted to reuse some of our gutters and piece them together with new ones, run hoses in strange places, etc. I just didn't get the right feeling from them, but they seem to have a good reputation, so you might want to check them out anyway.
Austin Gutter Man installed seamless gutters on our house. They've made a big difference in the runoff, splashback, and drainage issues we were having. They scheduled the work quickly and came out at about 8:30 one morning and were completely finished well before noon. We worked with Ron and he helped us figure out what to do about an issue we had (we have an odd roof) and didn't balk at the job (we have a small house & with the odd roof issue a couple of other co's told us the job wouldn't meet their min.) They look good and we haven't had any problems.
I'm pretty sure I still have a referral discount coupon they gave us. It was for $100 off new gutters, so if you're interested in having them come out and give you a quote, you can pm me and I can dig it out and drop it in the mail to you and give you the code so you'll have it when you call to set an appt up.
