Aw, happy anniversary! And wow, way to go, holding out a whole year on that cake.
DH and I made it to our one-month anniversary, then we invited one of our bridesmaids over and the three of us devoured that cake in one night. Good thing, I guess, because we wound up moving to DC before we hit the one year mark anyway.
Hope your anniversary was fab, and that your second year of marriage is even better than the first!
Have anniversary! I'm glad it was good. I hope your second year is just as good!
::::shudder:::::
ours was awful.

we had a few cakes left after our wedding, but didnt have the freezer space. so my mom kept them for us, and served them for dessert at several bbq's at her house the following couple of months. needless to say there was nothing when we had our 1yr a couple weeks ago.

The bakery we used in Fredericksburg told us they'd make us a new top tier at the one year anniversary free of charge...so we ate ours in the weeks following the wedding.
I suddenly have a craving for wedding cake.
Thanks everyone! It was nice.
We decided to do fancy brunch instead of fancy dinner (since it was Sunday) and went to Moonshine. It was also divine. I don't know why we never went before!
Risa- that's horrible! I would be so pissed off!
My mom also kept ours for us, but she didn't eat it. I don't know if we would have been able to hold out if we had had to freeze it ourselves, but we just got it back a month ago when we moved.
