I signed up to make a meal for a family at church that just had a baby. They already have two little boys, age 3 and 5. I just talked to the woman and she said her boys don't really like any kind of "soupy casseroles" and they eat pretty healthy. Some stuff they like to eat--pork, fish, anything chicken. Just not casserole-ish. And something that can probably be heated up as I can only drop it off in the afternoon on Saturday and they probably won't eat it until dinner time.
Any ideas from anyone? I can make a pretty good chicken noodle soup from scratch so I might make that for them too, that they can eat heat up and eat whenever, but I also want to make a good meal they can eat that night.
TIA!
Re: I need some meal help!
I pph Beckyster!
I was going to say spaghetti and meatballs, all kids love this! But chicken and sides are great as well.
Michelle you're such a sweetie pie for doing this, too!
I agree that you are very sweet to do this for them.
I like the chicken idea with a bag of salad, maybe some homemade salad dressing, those microwavable baked potatoes, and you're golden.
