My boss just handed back my resume
WITH SO MANY CORRECTIONS.
I'm freaking out a little. But just a little, it's totally fine. I'm just embarrassed because I'm self-conscious about my writing. It's not bad, but I'm for some reason terrified of people thinking I'm stupid (I have a little bit of "YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME" syndrome, very common in MA).
The corrections are good. She gave me a lot of good advice. I just know I'm going to cringing when I go through the whole thing.
Guhhhhh. Ok, get over it now.
Re: My boss just handed back my resume
Don't feel bad! I'm sure quite a bit of it is subjective. . .
This. I'm glad she was willing to help!
At least it's your current boss helping you and not your future possible employer. I understand how self-conscious you are, but I'm sure you mostly got common corrections that many people get when they write their resume. Remember some of her corrections are most likely personal preference for a resume and not necessarily the required or "correct" way to present the info. I'm sure what you had written was great and it's just little tweeks being made.
