What color(s) is your kitchen?
Our is red and white only becuase that is what it was when we moved in. Our kitchen towels and mitts dont really follow a color scheme and our plates are a netural color. I would repaint but just havent gotten around to it yet.
I have a bridal shower tomorrow and as I was looking at the registry the colors are brown and yellow, to be those colors belong in the toliet. Why would you choose those colors together?

Re: What color(s) is your kitchen?
Our house as an open floor plan so our kitchen is the same as our great room and dining. It's Baja by Behr - kind of a khaki color but at night it has a greenish tint. We have sage and brown dish towels and mitts.
Is it a pretty color yellow - maybe like a mustard?? I could see that in a kitchen. Funny you said it belongs in a toiltet that made me LOL.
Our kitchen is yellow but it is more is more towards a creamier yellow. Not pastel and not primary. It used to be a soft lime green which I loved but it clashed with our living room which is called Cajun Red (kind of a brick red). Red and green are ok for Christmas but not so great at year round decor.
sure, ask a hard question.
We have some fugly wall paper-the cabs are a dark brown and the counters are the old Formica white with gold specs... I think the paper is beige-y.
(sad that I don't notice considering my job)
Ours is red, black and white. Someday, I would love a house with concrete counters and a black & white tile backsplash!
Brown & yellow is kind of 70s, but I think it could be tastefully pulled off. My friend's parents have the best 70s house ever - orange shag carpeting, "wood" paneling and a bright orange sink, it's hilarious! I can't believe they even made orange sinks!?
just saw this gem on craigslist. inspiration: check
This is my kitchen, brown and beige. Booooring!!!!
If I had it my way, I would do it mid century modern. LIke stainless or concrete countertops, with the really high polished wood cabinets with the dark wood grain, or colored laquer cabinets. This is waaayy too Southwestern for me.
What is it that she has registered that are brown and yellow? Or is it listed in a description? Maybe she has other plans and is not planning on putting the stuff in the same room?
Who knows.
OUr kitchen walls are a sage green...We stained our cabinets mahogany
I dont have accessories in the kitchen really...
We also have a very open floor plan. The room is like a chocolatey color or so...our countertops match is well with white cabinets. We have plain white plates and stainless steal appliances. I don't like towels and stuff hanging around, so no towels or mitts! LOL
My kitchen is seafoam green and lemon yellow (straight out of 1941 when our tile was put in). I'm going with it because it suits me and I love the combo.
But brown and yellow? I don't know about that, I guess I would have to see the kitchen first. It MIGHT work.
