Hi ladies, I'm coming out of lurking because I have a couple of questions--
1. Can you recommend a place in BR for cleaning wedding gowns? I want to take it some place that is reputable.
My wedding was in October, and I've be procrastinating on taking it in for cleaning (mostly because I haven't decided what I'm going to do with it).
2. What did you do with your wedding dress?
TIA

Re: Wedding dress cleaning?
I wish I could help but sadly my dress has not been cleaned....and today is our third wedding anniversary!
I don't feel so bad, now!
Congrats on your anniversary. Your LO is a doll.

This is legal advice. Circa 2011
I trashed mine during a photo session, sprayed it with spray and wash, tossed it in the washer, and hung it outside to dry. Came out cleaner than the day I wore it.
No lie.
Another vote for Rome's
to piggyback on your post.. has anyone sold there wedding dress online? if so, what sites did you use?? I want to sell mine and I put it on craigslist but i think my asking price was to high..
This is awesome. I actually thought about dying mine blue or something and wearing it for a Mardi Gras ball. I read somewhere that if it can be washed, it can be dyed.

I didn't sell mine, but www.oncewed.com is a popular site.
OP, I took mine to Kean's, but dying and wearing it to a ball or something is a fab idea.
I actually bought my gown and veil at Bravo Bride. I highly recommend this site for selling used wedding items. I even resold my veil on the same site. I bought my gown from a girl who canceled her wedding, so it was never worn!
