I'm Back! Anyone live in Arizona?

Hey guys!!!  I'm baaaaack!

Cancun rained the whole time we were there except the last day, which was the wedding day so I didn't get a chance to lay out and got no sun!  I came back just as pasty as when I left.  :)  I also was a little displeased with the resort.  I thought it was great the first two days, but then it got really busy and it was like they didn't have enough staff to handle the influx of people.  The food suddenly got bad and service really slow.  But otherwise had fun!

Then the cruise was sort of the same way.  We did get a nice day of weather the Day At Sea and I FINALLY got my tan!  Yay!!!  But the rest of the time was kind of rainy and pretty windy.  Also the cruiseline shoved three of us in the smallest room I've ever been in and I kept almost killing myself trying to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.  But, again, the wedding was beautiful and I LOVE the people we were cruising with.  I just didn't care for the weather, the room, or the way customer service treated us like sub-class passengers. I'm now holding a bit of a grudge against Carnival.

And now, onto my news!  I have made a decision about where I am going to live when camp in Wisconsin ends in September.  I am going to the Phoenix, AZ area!  I have friends there and one is going to help me arrange a room to rent before I even get to town so I'll have that taken care of and won't have to worry about couch crashing while I look for a place.  I'm not sure if that's where I'll ultimately end up, but for now that's where I'm going to go.  It's close enough to San Diego that I can come back to get the rest of my stuff pretty easily and also keep my photography commitments (I have weddings booked here through November).  But I love how affordable AZ is and I'm hoping that if I like it by next year I'll be able to buy a house!

So... yeah.  That's my update.  Sorry for being so absent lately but I get to be home for a whole week now!!!  Yay!  :)
