Can switching birth control pills make you have a lighter period
I switched my BCP from Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo to Sronyx this month. I started my period Tuesday evening/Wednesday morning (I have had a very light period, so it has been kind of hard to tell) and my period has been very light that I didn't even need to use a tampon today (sorry if that is TMI), but I have been very crampy and felt pretty much the same as previous months when I have had my period. I am going to take a test tomorrow morning just to make sure I am not pregnant, but can switching birth control pills make you have a lighter period than normal?
Re: Can switching birth control pills make you have a lighter period
Yes, depends on how your body responds to the hormones in each pill.
I went from 7 days heavy (On Ortho Tri-Cyclen) to 3 super light days by switching to LoEstrin.
