Cute produce bags

I saw the discussion below and thought I'd share these bags I saw on Amazon.com -

http://www.amazon.com/flip-tumble-5-Pack-Reusable-Produce/dp/B002UXQ7QQ/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=ITTX26EV0PVZQ&colid=24X78DNDSLYEO

Of course, they are out of stock, but they are on my wishlist because I wanted to get a set for my aunt for her bday in August.  The price seemed pretty reasonable, and it has free shipping.

I know there are bags on Etsy and elsewhere - how do these bags compare?  How are you choosing bags?  Like does the material used matter?

Re: Cute produce bags

  • There are some just like that at Whole Foods. You get 6 bags for $7.99. Do you have a Whole Foods near you?
  • I can't compare the two, but I have these and they're great!  The little bag that holds them hooks onto the handle of my big bag (that holds all my reuseable bags).

  • Like PP, I love AMKDesign's bags. That carrying bag is awesome!

  • I've tried a couple of different produce bags including the one from Etsy everyone here likes, and these organic cotton ones from Peddler's Wagon are definetely the best.

The small size is perfect for mushrooms, green beans, and any other small produce.  The big size works great for fruit and lettuce.

That's where I got mine, too.  Only there wasn't a 6-pack; the ones I bought were sold in pairs.

Those look great!  I may order those soon, b/c two doesn't cut it when I'm doing a bigger trip.  (I could have sworn that I had more, but have no idea where they went!)   I end up keeping items loose in my basket, or (for small items) I'm stuck using one or two of the plastic bags. Embarrassed  Thanks for the recommendation!

i have these, and honestly, i don't like them.  the drawstrings came out when i washed them.   i also have a few that i picked up at whole foods- a little more pricey, but cuter (patterns on the top part of the bag) and the drawstring has a little button thing on it so you can open and close it easily without having to knot it.  that thing also prevents the string from coming out in the wash.

  • I'm getting these soon.  I'm basing them completely on the cuteness factor.  : )  I'm not exactly vicious when it comes to putting things in the bags, and I will handwash them so I imagine they'll hold up ok.

  • I got a 4 pack of green mesh bags like the previous posts at Dollar Tree... in the laundry section.  $1... green and saved me green :).

Aren't they adorable?  Someone posted them here a long time ago, and I think it was after Christmas.  Otherwise I'd have them by now.  ; )

I didn't like these.  The set of 6 don't fit in the carrying bag no matter how I folded them, and the part of the bag where the drawstring comes through started to fray after just a few uses.
