Any recs for Skaneatles hotels/inns?

I've only ever been for day trips.

Looking to book one night for a girls getaway, and there would be 4 of us. I'm looking around on the internet, and many look nice, just curious if anyone's got any recs. Thanks ladies!

  • You could stay and have spa time at Mirabeau Inn & Spa.

  • DH and I stayed at a B&B in Auburn a couple years ago that was awesome- 10 Fitch was the name. I think it was like 10-15 minutes from Skaneatles?

  • I know this is late, but thought I would chime in since I'm from Skan.  The sherwood is really nice, downtown, don't have to drive and the rooms are nice.  I you want something new then the packwood is nice.  Its also owned by the Sherwood and caters more to the business traveller, new mission style rooms, but the rooms are bigger and have a great view of the lake.  These both include breakfast at the Sherwood.  They also have a couple smaller places either in the village or out of town a little bit.  There are tons of different B&B's in town.  A few are lady on the lake, the arbor house, grey house (not sure on the name), frog pond (out of town a bit).  Mirbeau is amazing, but it is pricey and you have to drive into town.

The only place I have heard not good things about is the Skaneateles Boutique Hotel.  Its in the village, but not as nice as some of the others.

Make sure you check out Anyela's, the winery on the lake, its really nice!
