Good news! (DH related)

As some of you may remember, my DH has been dealing with some pretty serious health issues for a while now.  Luckily, we finally have some good news!  Today at his appointment his platelets were at 891k!  That is way over normal, due to the meds he receives, but better that than too low like they were.  Also, his red cells are steadily climbing.  They are still low, but heading in the right direction.  Due to this he is also feeling a little better every day.  They lowered his dose of steroids (it'll take a really long time to get off of them completely).  But the best thing is that they decided that it no longer made sense to leave his central line in!  This means that they do not foresee anymore transfusions or chemo!

This hope I feel, it is foreign, but I like it!
