DH and I are going to be in the market for a new mattress real soon. Does anyone have any recommendations of brands or where to buy in the Triangle?

    We got our mattress from Costco.  We ordered it online (without testing it out first), which wasn't a big deal for us since we wanted a firm one.  But we also ordered a memory foam topper to give us a pillow top type feel since that was cheaper than going with the pillow top option.  If you are willing to consider ordering without trying, I highly recommend Costco for their prices and quick delivery.

    We got a Sleep Number at Christmas and LOVE IT.  They are pricey, but well worth it.  Its nice having dual chambers where we can each have the "firmness/lack there of" we both want.  I'm not sure with you bc of your DH's job, but one bad thing- is when my DH is away- I dont get to sleep in the middle even if both sides are adjusted the same- its kinda like a hump in the middle.

    We got our new mattress about 1.5 years ago from Mattress Firm.  It is a Simmons, which was the same as our previous mattress, and I love it.  I like a softer mattress & the one we got was just that!  They also have an exchange policy that if you aren't happy with it, you can exchange it for something else.  I was a little worried about ours at first, but after a month or two, it felt the same as the one in the store.

    The original mattress factory.  I still have one that is 16 years old and in great shape.

    We got a Simmons Beautyrest from Ashley furniture, it's a plush, and I loooove it.
