Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
She was rear-ended about a month ago and didn't know it at the time, but she sustained a hairline fracture in her hip. It progressively got bigger until the pain became excruciating. Today they are putting in 3 screws in the hopes that it will mend itself and she won't have to have a complete hip replacement. Please send whatever nestie vibes and prayers you've got because Mommom is the matriarch of our family and I love her more than you can imagine!
TIA,
~Kelly

We were the first grandkids, so my mom's mom just naturally became Mommom! In fact, I love her/it so much that I have already told DH that someday I want to be called Mommom too.
I totally missed that! I thought you were talking about your mom. Oops. I've never seen that before, but I don't know why it should surprise me--we call my grandfather Pop Pop.

Poppop was Mommom's husband.
Poppop was my Mommom's husband too! I never met him, he died before I was born, so we called my OTHER grandfather Poppop, too! (His wife is Nana, though!)
