Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. NIAW

April 24 - May 1 is National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW). NIAW is a movement to raise awareness about the disease of infertility, which affects more than 7.3 million people of childbearing age in the United States. I am one of them. Please take the time to learn more about the struggle those of us have to endure to have families. I'm so glad infertility is becoming a known issue. Its such a struggle & people always feel its their fault.

Re: NIAW

  • i loev this... i want to post it on my FB status, but since we haven't ever officially TTC, i'm afraid i'm "jumping the gun" on outing myself to almost 500 people on FB... what do you think, becky? some people do know i have PCOS..... i don't mind outing myself if you think just knowing i have PCOS would be considered "affected" by infertility..

Post it!!!! You aren't jumping the gun.

  • I think we all would be surprised to find out who has fertility issues and the fact that is more common and prevelant than we realize. I also have PCOS but have also never had trouble conceiving BUT this is a common thread between lots of women.
