Friday I picked up H from the airport! He was in Tampa all week for a work audit and I am so happy to have him back home.
Saturday was my birthday and H planned the whole day. It was perfect from donuts for breakfast, antique shopping, a museum, and the renting a movie.
Sunday we got caught up on things around the house. My uncle was in town so he stopped over with my parents to see the house and watch the Spurs game.
TTC #1 since 08/11 IUI#2 = BFP!
On Friday, I babysat my almost 2 month old niece for the day. Friday night we went out to dinner with some friends. We told them our news. They were shocked and excited.
On Saturday we picked out and bought patio furniture. My dad came over to help us put it together. We then went visit DH's family to share the good news.
On Sunday, DH went help an organization that he volunteers for. They were selling BBQ chickens for a fundraiser. I worked on things around the house.
I worked all day Friday and Saturday and then had my first day off in 2 weeks on Sunday!
All day Sunday, DH and I hung out at home, ran some errands and just enjoyed each others company. Goodness I love that man!
Sat was my birthday, too
I treated myself to a mani and pedi in the morning. Then my parents and grandma came over to help out in the afternoon. We cleaned my house from top to bottom to get ready for my shower on Sunday. Then the IL's joined us and we all ate dinner together. It was a really nice birthday.
Sunday was my Baby Shower! (It was also 1 yr exactly from the day we celebrated my 30th bday and bach party!). It was a gorgeous day out and we had about 30 ppl out on my deck for the shower. My friends and family were very generous! It was almost overwhelming! We had a lot of fun and I can't believe its all over! One cool thing we did was a diaper raffle. People brought diapers and wipes and got entered into a drawing (the prize was a bottle of Moscato with a massage GC). It was super helpful to us - we are now stocked up on several diff sizes of diapers and probably have enough wipes to last a few months! It was great! Lol!
