New Furniture!

Here's a pic of our new furniture (and Lucea).  Sorry about all of the weird spots and reflections.  I'm really excited to get new lamps and accessories for the room.  image

Re: New Furniture!

  • Very nice! I really like darker furniture.
  • Your bedroom looks great and I'm totally jealous.

We've been sleeping on a mattress since Alex gave away our bedroom set in December. Besides a new dresser (that just arrived last week), we cannot find furniture that we both agree on.

I'm so glad we decided to redecorate. </sarcasm>

  • I love it!  Mind if I ask where it's from?  We need a serious bedroom update as well.

  • Looks great!  The dresser and nightstands actually look just like ours.  I doubt that it's the same because ours in from 2006 (from Raymour & Flannigan.)
  • looks good...did you say you put this together yourself?  can i hire you?

  • Thanks girls! We're debating buying a new TV for the room. After we figure that out, I have some other decisions to make. I might get a new mirror and hang the one that came with the furniture somewhere else. It's a little big for the room and I don't like everything so matchy matchy. I really wanted an upholstered head board but DH wasn't into it. So I gave in because I couldn't stand looking at our old stuff anymore.

Of course but I don't think it'll help. It came from a local furniture store who's going out of business. I sell furniture for a living and can buy wholesale. This was cheaper than anything I could've bought. It's not the greatest quality but not terrible either. It looks good and we don't need it to last forever. I've never heard of the manufacturer and forget the name. I'll look when I get home tonight.

Ha ha! If I said "put together" I meant the room not the furniture. I did put together the bed by myself. But that's easy. Just slide in the rails and slats - done. I have assembled plenty of furniture for work and friends and would be happy to help any time!
