My sister pretty much had a little chihuahua forced on her by her husbands family a couple years ago. They love the dog but she has seperation anxiety according to the vet and she will chew on anything she can get to when they are not around or sleeping.
She needs a loving home with someone who can be there with her most of the day and give her the attention she needs.
Any help would be great. My sister will only let her go if she knows she is going to a good home and will be taken care of and loved.
Re: Can anyone help?
Is separation anxiety the main issue? If so, crate training helped my dog, and she had TERRIBLE separation anxiety.

Hmm...our dog chews a LOT so she is crated when we aren't home as well. We had to crate train her by taking the top off of the crate, putting a lot of blankets in there, and letting her try to nap there right next to us. We built it up to where she was comfy enough to go in on her own, added the top and she's been fine with it ever since. It's actually the ONLY place she can sleep too.
