We're done, we're closed, and we don't have to deal with underwriting for a very long time. Just for future reference, avoid Teche Federal Bank and Crescent Mortgage. Our originating officer with Teche is very sweet, but we just don't feel like she had control of the situation. And as for Crescent Mortgage, their underwriters are asshats!

congrats to you!... have a question for ya... did yall do a lease with purchae option? how did that work? did yall lease for a while then made an offer on the home? Bf and I are moving into our new house on May and we're leasing but heard there may be a lease/purchase option later on? Not sure!
