So it seems like a lot of people are interested. Can we do a poll on who wants to do what? [Poll]
Re: East Coast Wine GTG Poll
I couldn't even vote in my own poll. I guess I should made the option:
I don't care - I just want wine.
Living in CA really blows.
But I hope you girls have soooo much fun!
There were a few Bucks Co. wineries at this year's farm show and they were YUMMY! I'm in for this depending on how crazy work gets this fall.
Absolutely!!! That would be so much fun - and beautiful.
My DH would not be interested at all but I don't care if other DH's come. What does everybody else think?
i voted for the fredrick one, but where is boordy winery. and the columbia one is police memorial weekend so i know i wouldn't be able to get off work.
when is the fredrick one.
Boordy is about 15 minutes north of Baltimore. There is no date for the Frederick one. It can be any Saturday or Sunday. We can see what works for everyone.
I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.

Other dates are open. Wine in the Woods Festival is that weekend but we have more votes for the Frederick wine trail anyway. I'll start a new poll with good dates for everyone.
And what is a "Second Alive Party"?
I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one unfamiliar with this term. Please explain, Rose.
Here are some things to know about my husband:
a. He is an uber nerd (went to Harvard)
b. He has a slight obsession with numbers and math
c. He likes to throw parties (read: have me organize parties that he takes the credit for ::cough, cough:: our wedding ::cough, cough::)
Well, a few months ago, he calculated the exact day, hour, minute, and second (like I said, super nerd) in which he will turn exactly one billion seconds old (May 15th at 9:47pm) and he decided we should throw a party. So, yeah. We're throwing a Billionth Second Alive Party that night.

One&Only Palmilla - Los Cabos, Mexico
Oh, lol. Actually I think that's pretty cool. I read it as his billionth "second alive party". I thought maybe he had almost died and had thrown many of these parties to celebrate his "second chance".
I can't fault him for lack of creativity...

You should fly out here and stay at my place
(A) This is the first I'm hearing of all of this, and I'd like in. I voted Fredrick because its sounds fun.
(B) Nicole, I'll make my DH come so you're DH isn't the only one. He doesn't like wine, so he can chaperone A & I one their second date.
(C) Natalee & Tracy - have you ever heard of/ tried Peace Valley Wines? they are in Bucks County and their Summer Solictice is sooooooo good.
(D) Will Pi be served at the Billionth Second Party? I think its a cute idea. I'd love to know what your/his party favors are.
I agree totally
