Going to lose my sh!t in about 3 minutes.
I swear to god MIL, you need to check Hunter's daily "report" card and see how/if he napped at daycare when you pick him up. AND if he ate.
Yesterday she accompanied us to his 6 month shots/appointment. I asked if she had fed him. "I never check those sheets!" she stated. Poor boy went 5 hours almost without a bottle. Too long.
Today I picked him up from her house. "Did he nap for you?" I innocently asked, because the daycare report card indicated he'd only taken 2 20 minutes naps.
"No, we don't nap at Grandma's when we can play instead."

Thank you for listening. I am going to go attend to my super cranky baby now.

Grandma should be put on a PIP.
You are a much nicer woman than I could ever be . . .
If that were my MIL babysitting priveledges would be revoked.
AGH! My MIL is the same way!! I don't have LO yet, but she "babysits" for B&SIL. One night we were out with them (the kids were 1 and 3 at the time) BIL called at midnight to see how things were going and to see if it was ok to be out for a couple of more hours.
MIL: Everything's fine! Do you want to talk to (niece) she wants to say hi to daddy.
BIL: Mom, what is (niece) doing up at midnight???
MIL: Oh, they're both up, we're watching a movie and having some candy!!
I can't wait!!!
Its sooooo frustrating. Hunter thrives on structure. On Thursdays and Fridays (when I pick him up from daycare) he does SO WELL. Naps once we get home, eats, plays, eats again, down for "first sleep/night nap" then back up on schedule for a bath.
M, Tues, Weds are like a sh!tstorm of screamy cranky baby. We've talked to her but she just doesn't get it. Its like talking to a brick Wall (I hope you get the pun I am making!)
