Anyone in the Triad have furniture they want to get rid of?
I am looking for a dresser/chest of drawers/nighstand in the Triad area. It doesn't need to be in great (or even good) condition, as I am hoping to refinish and paint/stain it. I am willing to pay for and pick up the furniture.
Re: Anyone in the Triad have furniture they want to get rid of?
You may want to try and hit up Craigslist if you aren't too picky about the quality. With all the showrooms in close proximity, there are a lot "scratch and dent" dealers that get stuff at a cheap price and pass the savings along to you. You could also try Furnitureland south salvage--it's been years since i was last in there, but everything was sold as-is--and most of it was scratched or dented.
Finally, there's always the Saturday morning yard sales. It seems that every neighborhood has at least one each weekend when it gets warmer--you may want to hit those up too! HTHs.
Ditto Duke_girl on your siggy.
With regard to the furniture you're looking for, I'd suggest looking at Craigslist. We have a ton of wooden furniture from CL, there are some great peices to be found there. Some we've refinished, some we've left as is. Someday we'll sell them back on craigslist since it's not all our style, but I think we could sell them for what we bought them for.
yep! i wrote you back this morning from work.
