My family has had two Australian Shepherds since I was 11. My mom said she'd buy me one if J and I got married, but I have moral qualms about buying a dog when there are so many shelter dogs that need homes. So this is perfect especially since we used to have a 3-legged dog too!
I sent the link to my mom and told her she needs to get him for me and I'll take him when we move out. I said please so she'll probably say yes.
Or not.
Re: Um. This is my dog?
He is BEAUTIFUL!!!!
I hope you get him.
We had 2 austrailian shepards when i was growing up. Mickey(my dog) and Dog. Dog died when i was young but we got Mickey when I was like 3 and he was the best dog EVER!
They take A LOT of attention. Mandy, my parent's current Aussie, is not only high energy, she's also obsessed with us. She doesn't get separation anxiety but if you are home she must be rightherenexttoyou. And if you're gone too long, she will pee with excitement when you get home.
What a beautiful dog!!! I hope you are able to get him/her!
(I'm still working on getting one this summer! Right now, our free bird is all I get.)
