How is everyone this morning?
I'm doing well, all things considered. (My Great Aunt passed away this previous weekend; her funeral was yesterday. When my parents got to her funeral, my aunt informed them my Great Uncle had passed away a few hours previously. We knew my Great Aunt wouldn't make it; she'd been diagnosed with brain cancer and also had several "suspicious spots" on her lungs, so thankfully her battle was quick and she didn't suffer for long. My Great Uncle has battled several serious health issues and was back and forth between a rehabilitation facility and the hospital since having a bypass a few weeks ago. I imagine his struggle was getting to him - he could no longer do the things he loved, like trapping and fishing.)
Although, my nephew had court yesterday... we didn't expect to hear from him but he tried calling last night. That's good news because it means he wasn't transferred to a different facility! 
(I was really worried they'd send him back to the juvenile deliquent center.) I unfortunately missed his call because I was in the shower and by the time I got it, it was after curfew. What a relief, though! (If he had been returned to juvey, when he turns 18 in a few months, he would've been transferred into the prison system. 
)

1 week down living with my parents and only 2 weeks to go! LOL! My dad is so set in his ways that he was complaining last night (jokingly) about everything we were doing (like wasting too much water while washing dishes) so I started calling him Grumpy Grandpa and he didn't like that too much

In good news we closed on the townhouse last night so that step is done! We're officially homeless (like Val) but May 14th is only 2 weeks away.
Paula that's good your nephew wasn't transferred to a different facility! And I'm sorry to hear about both deaths in your family this week.

Paula, I'm so glad your nephew wasn't transferred. That's great news.
I'm doing ok today. It's my best friend's birthday and the senior partner's birthday. We're having a suprise party at work for the partner (his kids are even driving in for it to surprise him - two of them live on the other side of the state, one lives a couple hours south of here).
Paula, that's good to hear about your nephew, I hope you get to talk to him soon.

Kristin, thank god your wait is so short! I'm really not minding living w/my parents but I'm anxious to have my own space back. We have 7 weeks from today till closing!

I feel a little badly for not being more torn up about the losses, but these were elderly aunts/uncles. I feel more relief for them because they struggled getting older and not being able to do the things they loved and made them happy. (It does really suck for my parents; they had a memorial in IL for another Great Uncle just a week and a half ago... and now two more funerals within a week of each other.
)
They say things come in 3s... and I was REALLY worried my nephew would be #3.
I know it sounds bad, but hopefully it's just these three funerals.
It just feels so cramped because my parents are getting new carpet tomorrow so most of their stuff is moved or boxed up and then we brough stuff with us for the 3 weeks. And my brother comes home from college next week so it'll feel even more cramped! I just like having my own space and king size bed
That's great you have a definite close date now! With you vacation coming up, it'll go by very quickly I hope!

Hi girls. I am good, I had a doctors appoinment this morning. The babies hearbeat was good and she was checking his poistion and he kicked her which I thought was funn.y So that was good. I got my 34 week packet which talked about signs of labor, crazy!
My crazy office manager is coming in today which really sucks, she wasn't here yesterday or Tuesday, it was nice and peaceful. It's always awful when she's here.
